What the Dank Prison store (dankprison.com) collects, why, and what happens to it.

What we collect

To sell and deliver in-game perks we keep: the Minecraft username you enter (and its public Mojang UUID, so perks survive name changes), your order history on this store (items, amounts, dates), the email address PayPal provides with a completed payment or that you give us, and — if you subscribe — your newsletter email. Player head images on the site are loaded from public Minecraft avatar services using the username you typed.

Payments

Payments are handled entirely by PayPal. Your card or bank details never touch our servers; PayPal shares your payer email and name with us so we can send your receipt and help with support. PayPal's own privacy policy applies to the payment itself.

Emails we send

We email you a receipt when a payment completes, and reply when you contact support. The newsletter is separate and only goes to addresses that subscribed (via the signup form or the optional checkbox at checkout); every issue includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and newsletter emails contain a tiny tracking image that tells us whether an issue was opened, purely so we know what's worth sending. Unsubscribing stops everything except receipts for purchases you make.

Cookies

We use a small number of functional cookies only: a session cookie for your cart, your saved username, and your currency preference. There are no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics, and no tracking across other websites.

Who we share with

Three parties, all necessary to run the store: PayPal (payment processing), the Dank Prison game server (receives the recipient's username to deliver the perk in-game), and public Minecraft avatar/UUID services (username lookups for the head images and name-change-proof delivery). We don't sell, rent, or trade any of your data with anyone.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as we run the store — they're what lets us re-deliver your perks after a username change, handle disputes, and do basic bookkeeping. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in any issue. To correct an email address on an order or ask about the data we hold on you, email dankprison@gmail.com from the address in question and we'll help. Note that order records tied to purchases generally need to be retained even if other data is removed.
